About Best Web Hosting Hub
Best Web Hosting Hub tests web hosting from India, for businesses operating in India.
It is run from Kolkata, West Bengal, by one person rather than a company. That is worth saying plainly, because the volume of publishing here will look like one person's output — a few pages a month, done properly — rather than the hundred-reviews-a-quarter output of the large hosting sites.
Why it exists
Every large hosting review site tests from the United States or Europe, quotes prices in dollars, and never asks whether a host issues a GST invoice, bills in rupees, or survives India's recurring-payment rules at renewal.
For a business here, those are not footnotes. A renewal that declines takes your website offline. A dollar invoice means no input tax credit. A server in Iowa means a slow site in Coimbatore.
Nobody was measuring this from inside the country, so this site does.
What we publish, and what we won't
Data pages carry only figures we collected ourselves, each dated. Where a table is empty, the round is still running — we would rather show you an empty table than a filled one we cannot stand behind.
We do not review a host we have not used, rank one we have not researched, or accept payment for placement. The methodology page sets out the full protocol, in enough detail that you could repeat the tests and check our numbers.
On anonymity
There is no name or photograph on this page yet, and you are right to weigh that when deciding how much to trust what you read here.
What we would rather be judged on is whether the method is published, whether the figures are dated, whether the tests can be repeated, and whether the site says unflattering things about hosts that pay it commission. Those are checkable. A name and a headshot are not.
How this is paid for
Affiliate commission on some links. It changes nothing about what gets published — the disclosure page explains the money in plain language, and the methodology explains the controls.
